The last day of “New York Street”, an amazing workshop attended by beautiful people and led by a passionate educator and photographer, Joseph Michael Lopez, has been emotional for everybody. We reviewed everybody’s photographs for the last time and we spent some time for individual recommendations and advice. We watched the collective slideshow that has been produced out of projects realized by each one during the week. Tears didn’t take too much to arrive!

We ended the day with the usual ritual of delivering our certificates and with a nice group lunch. Then the group split, with some heading to Photoville and other going to shop or visit the last things in the city before heading back home.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this workshop because without them we would have missed this wonderful experience. Every year we are amazed by the passion and energy that all the photographers who come for us to New York put in this experience. Sharing seven intense days with them is an human and educational experience on its own.

Photo Workshop New York 2015 has been the sixth edition of this educational program. An edition we firmly wanted to put together even if this winter our team has started to work on other very big things in Bologna, and the time and energy to put everything together required all our efforts and passion. We ended up doing one of the four workshops programmed but we know that the others are only being postponed. We are extremely proud of the students we’ve had this year and we can’t wait to organize the next edition, after we’ll be done with the important projects that are boiling in the pot in Bologna.

PWNY 2015 would like to deeply thank Mariagrazia Beruffi, Miguel Castillo, Mattea Luchina, Sara Minerali, Mary Morgan, Peter Nagy, Sara Rinaldi, Steven Soblick, Lucrezia Zanardi, the staff at Union Docs in Williamsburg, our amazing New York assistants Valentina Casalini and Guido Borso, our team in Bologna with Roberto Alfano, Laura De Marco, Giovanna Dell’Acqua, Martina Verona and of course Joseph Michael Lopez.

To the next!
